Riverview’s Parents Association provides many ways to get to know other families in the School community. The Parents Association facilitates a mentoring program, coordinates faculty appreciation activities, and provides volunteer support for various activities including Riverview’s annual Village of Dreams Gala.
The mentoring program is provided for new families of both the Middle & High School and the GROW program. Veteran families are assigned to a new family to provide informal support and guidance as they join the Riverview community.
The Parents Association also sponsors two faculty appreciation activities each year, one during the holiday season and the other before summer break, as a way of saying “thank you” to the school’s dedicated faculty.
The Village of Dreams Gala is a major fundraiser for the school that takes place each June. Parents are asked to volunteer time and/or auction items, and, of course, to attend the gala itself. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other Riverview parents, enjoy good food, have fun and support the school.
